This is biaxial load cell capable of monitoring 2-component
force in one plane. It was designed specifically for a special
machine used in the tire industry to trim the tires as they
are being produced to provide for a tire that is inherently
balanced and runs true on the road. They have also been
used in other application where forces in two axes need
to be monitored.
